What does "refurbished" mean at RenewTronics?

Our laptops are off-lease business machines, mostly Dell Latitude and Precision, Lenovo ThinkPad and ThinkBook, and HP EliteBook. Each one is inspected and tested by our technicians in California, cleaned, wiped, and set up with a fresh install of Windows 11 Pro (unless the listing says otherwise). Where a listing shows more RAM or a larger SSD than the model shipped with, we upgraded it.

What do the condition grades mean?

Grade A (Excellent): fully tested and working, may show minor cosmetic wear such as light scuffs. This is our standard grade and what you get unless the title says otherwise.
Grade B (Fair): fully tested and working, with visible cosmetic defects on the lid or chassis that do not affect performance. Priced lower, same warranty.
Grade C / Scratch and Dent: fully tested and working, with heavier scratches or dents. Sold in Clearance; read the listing for details.

What comes in the box?

The laptop, a compatible charger, and Windows 11 Pro installed and ready to use, unless the listing states a different operating system or "No OS". Listings that include a stylus or other accessories say so in the title or description.

What warranty do I get?

Every laptop comes with a 1-year warranty against hardware failure. If something goes wrong, email support@renewtronics.com with your order number and we will repair, replace, or refund. Model-specific guides are on our Support page.

How fast is shipping, and what does it cost?

Shipping is free within the United States and goes out by FedEx 2-day. Each product page shows an estimated delivery date. We currently ship to US addresses only.

What is the return policy?

You have 30 days from delivery to return a laptop for a refund. See the full return policy for the details.

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Amazon Pay. Shop Pay also offers interest-free installments on most orders; the option appears on the product page and at checkout.

How do I choose between configurations of the same model?

Each configuration (processor, RAM, storage, grade) is its own listing. On any product page, the Configuration dropdown lists every in-stock version of that model so you can switch between them, and every model has its own collection page showing all of its configurations side by side.

Do you sell to schools, businesses and resellers?

Yes. We stock popular models in volume and ship tested, warrantied units by the case or pallet. Send us your quantity and configuration through the bulk quote form and we will reply with pricing.

Who is RenewTronics?
